DIS modules are designed to interconnect heterogeneous simulation systems.

Special gateways

are usually based on the stand-alone computers connecting two or more separated local networks with two (or more) different communication protocols. These computers are not used for the simulation, they only support operation of different simulation environments.

Built-in modules

are parts of external applications. They read DIS PDUs, filter them and gain data for external application use. Some of modules moreover enables to apply result of external application activity/simulation into DIS environment.

Rapid simulator interconnection by means of DIS protocol

Transferable solution

DIS modules enable the integration of applications based on the different communication protocols into distributed simulation without necessity to modify or implement these applications again.
